either,neither,both,all,none这几个词什么时候后面加of?

either相当于名词是“两者之中的任何一个”,在句中作主、宾,表单数,作主语时谓语动词用单数.
eg. Either of the plans is equally dangerous.
neither的用法与either相同,意思相反,“两者之中,那个也不” Neither of them was any good.
both后跟of 短语时,后面常是复数名词或复数代词,接复数名词of可以省略,接复数代词不能省略.1.Both (of) the films were very good. 2.She invited both of us to the party.
all 是作为名词时常与of连用,但在英国英语中一般不用of.all of其实与all的意思是一样的.eg.1.All of the boys want to become football players. 2.All of these books are expensive.
后面可跟不可数名词表示单数：All of the bread was stale.
但只有all of 之后才可跟人称代词宾格：All of us were disappointed by him.
none (1) 后面跟of的话一般是用复形可数名词或不可数名词.eg.1. None of his friends has ever been to Paris. 2.None of the money was ever recovered.
(2)用作主语、宾语、表语、同位语等.eg.1.None of them spoke English expect Tallit.这里的none用作主语 2.That's none of your business!作的表语 3.We none of us said anything.同位语
