1.有两种解释.1)引导词在定语从句中做表语时用 that 而不用which; 2）which指的是“不再是那个显微镜了”,而 that 指的是“不再是以前那个样子了”.
2.说明你还有点语感,但远不够,that 跟 in which 就不是一回事.后半句完整的是这样的：Light travels the distance in one year.此处的the distance就是指的前文的the distance,所以可以看出先行词在定语从句中做宾语,故用that.
3.后半句完整版：It will be completely finished by that time.意思是到那时就可以完工了.但这里的by that time指的是前句的next Monday,不能直接做引导词,因为that作为引导词不可以放在介词by 的后面.所以选B.
4.all that = what,前者为定语从句,后者为名词性从句.在that在定语从句中做宾语的情况下可以省略,不用all就没有先行词了,定语从句如果没有先行词就不能认为是定语从句了,所以不行.答案应该是all that 或what,而这里没有what,也不可能有,因为有了的话就两个正确答案了.
