关于英语改错的问题!
People ,in the modern world generally live much more longer than people in the past.
书中说把“more”去掉为什么不把“much”去掉保留“much”?会为什么啊?搞不懂?

more 和longer都是比较级,long单音节词,比较级longer,只有多音节词才用more+adj的形式作为比较级,所以把more去掉,much是修饰比较级的程度
