Generation Gap
Nowadays,the most obvious feature of Chinese family is to have too much generation gap between the youth and the elder.There are usually several reasons for that as follows.
One of reasons is the elder is deeply influenced by Chinese culture and Chinese tradition so that they are honestly performing their duty ,which they should care for their children,without any complaint.So they neglect the development of the youth’s independence .On the other hand,what the youth is adopted the concepts today is different from the elder..
In order to reduce generation gap,the youth and the elder should change their concepts and behaviors.As the youth,first we need to be aware of what should say and ask when we talk with the elder.Second,showing respect is the basic demand for a youth.third,keep calm ,one of keeping calm is to avoid the argument.Last but not least,never forgot the mind that the elder loves us.As the elder,they should try to accept the new life style of the youth,and give the more free room and time.
All in all,only when we get along well with each other can we enjoy a more harmonious family.
