Mitosis:2.
2.Meiosis:the gene number of each daughter cell are reduced by half.
Mitosis:the gene number of each daughter cell.
3.MeiosisⅠ:chromosomes are reduced by half.
Meiosis Ⅱ:chromosomes remains the same.
both of meiosisⅠ and meiosis ⅡDNA are reduced by half.
4.Similarity:gametes are formed by meiosis, irrespective of the sex of the organism.
Diffrerence: Male gametes are reduced to basically carriers for their half of the chromosomes. In fertilization, the male contributes almost nothing except the chromosomes to the fertilized ovum.
Female gametes are complete cells and have all the cellular components except for half of the chromosomes.
