请问不是表示具体某一天或某一天上下午的时候用介词ON吗?为什么后面用的ON THAT DAY,而前面却用IN THE EVENING呢?

指定的某一天确实是用on,所以用on that day,而在evening前用in
按照这句话的意思,换一下语序的话,还可以说成：on the evening of that day …

一天当中的早上下午晚上,都要用in,in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening.而具体哪一天用on ,比如星期一啊,on Monday,等等.
