Nowadays we can hear various voices around us.Some hold the view of a bright future with the development of hi-tech,but others think the opposite.Some people even doubt how long human beings will survive on the earth in the future.
Why they have such ideas about our future?Because our surroundings are being polluted.We are using up our natural resources,and at the same time,the enviroment becomes worse and worse.
But now,there is a new idea about our future.We call it sustainable development which means the question how we can continue developing world without damaging the enviroment.
There are too many pollutions around us,such as water pollution,air pollution,deforestation,desertification and starvation.All these pollutions are caused by man----by the desire for a modern way of life.
According to the idea of sustainable development,our main task is to help people understand that there exist serious problems and that there is still time to take action.We must do whatever we can to save the earth and give our children a bright future.
