1.thank sb (for sth/doing sth)
e.g.We thanked them for all their help.
2.have oneself/sb to thank (for sth) 对某事）负有责任; 使某人（对某事）负责
e.g.She only has herself to thank for what happened.出了事只能怪她自己.
3.I'll thank you for sth/to do sth 用作提出请求或要求的礼貌用语
e.g.I'll thank you for that book.请您把那本书送给我吧.
4.thank God/goodness/heaven(s) 用以表示松心或宽慰
e.g.Thank God you're safe!谢天谢地,你平安无事!
