so that 的原因吧,够简洁

B thus 后面的becoming应该改成became。
理由：主要结构是...so...that...引导的结构，所以其前后的谓语动词要保持一致。我们看到was和predominated都是过去式，其它的动词还有thus后面的becoming，在这里要改成became与前后的谓语相一致。
另外，请你核对一下，during前面的three是不是there之误？谢谢。...
