我觉得题目出错了.
ones是不定代词,它的定语从句只能用that,不能用which.which和that如果在从句中做动词宾语的话,是可以省略的.所以这里可以说the ones,the ones that 都是正确的.
这里之所以会选择D ,我查证了一下,这个句子的出处是《薄冰语法》,原句中就是省略了that的.当然这个that可以省略也可以不省略.
但是如果把这个句子出成填空题,非说是有that的选项是错误的,我只能说是出题的老师欠缺思考,题目出的有问题.

替代泛指的复数名词，通常用 ones，前面已经有了代词ones后面就不需要再加that了
