关于Is this后面的定语从句

可以改成陈述句语序的
1.This school is the one （that/which） my father studied in when he was a child.
the one 既做is 的表语又做studied in的宾语.所以空格处不能不填,如果选that和which的话,那先行词是什么显然没有先行词,而且一般来说从句中that 前不能加介词.
2.关键是多了这题中the watch 的the
还原过来就是This is the watch you wish to have repaired.多加了个the,watch就做了is的表语和repair的宾语.

被修饰的先行词是名词或代词，当是名词时，有一种特指的意思，所以对于你所写的句子而言，就要注意this在句子中的作用，因为this是指示代词，既可以做定词来修饰另外一个名词也可以做代词使用。
在第一个句子中this在修饰school所以对于主句而言this school是主语，Is是谓语，缺少主语，所以要先补上主句的主语the one 。主句完整后我们现看从句，从句中主语是my fathe...

Is this school___the one _____my father studied in when he was a child?
不是省略了that
也可说成Is this the school___ that_____my father studied in when he was a child?
就变成了强调句型
陈述语序是this Is the school__that___my father studied in when he was a child。

理解这个题的时候应该先把他们还原成陈述句来做
还原句子：
this school is the one (that) my father studie in when he was a child.
this is the watch i wish to have repaired.
