答案是D,none.
问题里面有were,表示复数,但是其他的词一定是单数.NONE却可以是复数或单数,看情况.如果句意是复数,那么NONE就是复数形式,如果句意是单数,NONE就是单数.譬如:None of the friends ARE going with him.这里因为是复数FRIENDS,所以可以把NONE看成复数.

如果用WAS, 那么A,B,C都可以，因为看这种问题，把这些词都展开，成为 no (single) one, no (single) thing, any (single) one, 就显而易见，全部都是说单个的。

我看不出啊……应该C或D都对。前半句是过去进行时，所以后面也应该是过去式，那么A和B就不对了。但是在C和D 中，用quarrel和argument我见没什么不同啊，时态用HAD也正确。
