when 做替代词是
前面的 the days 应该在定语从句中做状语
显然 楼主的题目the days 做spent 的宾语
例如 I will never forget the days when I spent my holidays in the countryside.这样就对了

when 应该改成 which。
因为在定语从句中，谓语动词是spent，which做其宾语；如果用了when，则相当于 in which （在那些日子里），与句子意思就有出入了。而这里要说的是 我所度过的日子(which = days)。
