is是be动词
the man 是表语,同时做定语从句 i told you about的先行词.
i told you about是定语从句,前面省略了关联词who.
2.The one who offered you a job in Australia.本句中的关系代词who不能省去,因为关联词在定语从句中做宾语时可省,做主语时不能省略.而此句中who做定语从句的主语,所以不能省.
