A Trip to Summer Palace
Liu Ying:Morning!Sam.How were you doing on the weekend?
Sam:Morning!Liu YIng.I went with my friends to visit the Summer Palace and it was a fantastic trip.
Liu Ying:So,tell me what places you visited in the Summer Palace?
Sam:Well,we first visited the central Kunming Lake,which I heard,was entirely man-made and the excavated soil was used to build Longevity Hill.and it was really a big lake and there was a small island lying southeast of the lake which was called...hm...yeah...'Nanhu Island'.
Liu Ying:So you went on the island,didn't you?
Sam:yeah!But we didn't stay long there because we had to move on to the Longevity Hill which had many buildings positioned in sequence.The front hill was rich with splendid halls and pavilions,while the back hill,in sharp contrast,was quiet with natural beauty.
Liu Ying:Sounds great!You've really seen a lot of things during the weekend.
Sam:Yes indeed.So how was your weekend then?
Liu Yiing:I wasn't as lucky as you guys because I got a lot of math homeworks to do.
Sam:You're really hard working people.
