be going to 表示近期、眼下就要发生的事情,will 表示的将来时间则较远一些,如：

be going to与will均可表示将来的时间和意图,有时可换用
I think it'll rain this evening.
I think it's going to rain this evening

I will not tell you about it.
I'm not going to tell you about it.
我不会把这件事告诉你.

be going to表示打算在最近的将来要做某事,这种打算往往经过事先考虑,甚至已做了某种准备；will表示未事先考虑过,即说话时临时做出的决定.
We're going to watch a football match this evening.

They will go there on foot.
他们要步行去那儿
