等于whose
是这本书的封面,所以既可以用the cover of the boo(对应就是of which),也可以是the bok's cover（对应的是whose）

下面几个句子意思相同：
This is the book of which the cover was broken.
This is the book the cover of which was broken.
This is the book which the cover of was broken.
This is the book whose cover was broken.
注意：用whose时要去掉the。因为whose已经包含了the的意思在里面。
