Imagine you are writing an e-mail to your partner to discuss an issue he/she raised. He/she thought the project schedule was a little too tight for the system engineering group, and that it might be better to remove a week from the implementation phase and add it to the design & analysis phase. You want to tell him/her:
1. You agree that the design & analysis phase should be given more time;
2. However, as a member of the software engineering group, and you are fully aware of the expected intensity during the implementation phase, and you contend that cutting out a week from that phase would be impossible.
3. Maybe the schedule for the testing group is more flexible, and he/she may discuss with them about being allotted some of their time.
