As is known to us all,friendship between boys are based on shared activities and interests.我想问问为什么会用shared 而不是 being shared呢
To my surprise,the girl laughs the same way that her mother did at age.
为什么这里不用of which 而用that呢?

这里的shared 是过去分词做形容词用的,修饰的是activities and interests
如果是way 的定语从句,关系代词只用 that或in which 或者就省略代词

shared activities 整个作为名词使用了，shared 实际上作为形容词
第二个问题的话
关于of which ,in which 的话，以前高考我是这样记的
比如in which 在一些句子当中实际就可替换为 where
在这句中that引导同位语从句，指代way，of which好像没有引导同位语从句只能引导状语从句吧。。
我只是推测没...

shared 是形容词呗， 修饰 其后面的内容 ，意思是： 基于分享的 活动和兴趣。

of which 和 that 不是一回事，不能互换。 你先把 that ，which，who 学清楚了再看 of which。
因为 涉及到 of which 都会比较难...
