这难道还要分科普书和教科书之类的么？不都是书这一类事物吗？但不是同样的东西 应该是同类不同物吧？

The books in this bookshop are as many as those in that bookshop .

同类不同物，单数用that，复数用those指代。
eg the weather in China is better than that in Russia.
the buildings in our city are taller than those in her city.
C指的是非特定的物品，前面必须加定冠词才能相当于those。
