should have done sth表示理当应该做的但是没做
他以为自己考了个不及格,不是说他应当是考不及格,而是对已经发生的事情推测,所以用might have failed.

should have done 是本应该做某事 而实际上没做的意思。
couldn't have done 是本不应该做而实际上做了的意思。
might have done 是本可能做而实际上没有的意思。
mustn't have done 的说法不正确，一般没有这种表到，因为情态动词加完成时是表示对过去的推测，而mustn't 表达的是禁止的意思，所以两种在一起有点矛盾...
