从句意看：孩子已经看了很长时间电视，而且已经很晚了，该去睡觉了 make sb. do sth. 表示“迫使某人做某事”，尽管孩子还想看电视，但不得不去睡觉了而： let sb. do sth. 没有这种意思，这个句型经常用在： Let's go home. 等表建议的句子中所以还是用： made him stop watching 好
