我觉得第一个空能填 why 或者 that 或者 for which都可以,对不对?
第二个空能填 because 或者 that 都可以,对不对?

why 引导定语从句,修饰the reason
后面is that引导的是表语从句.这是一个句式,一般表示原因的表语从句的句式有两个固定的：
The reason why...is that
It is because .
这是固定的,不能换

如果把这句话改成 It is because 的句型： It is because she has been in hospital we have not seen her these days. 对不对？ hospital 和 we 之间用不用加逗号？

要是组成一个复合句，这样写： It is because she has been in hospital that we have not seen her these days. 对不对？

我从没看到过这种写法的，It is because... 是顺应前面一句句子的信息来的。
