Have you ever hread of the saying that “two heads are better than one”?In fact,it talks about one thing:teamwork.When two or more people work or play together to reach a common goal,they make a team.The goal might be to win a game of football,to finish a difficult task or to win a quiz.To achieve the goal,they must have good teamwork.
Teamwork is an excellent way for students to share what they know.While one student may not know all that is needed,two or more together might.When playing a basketball game,for example,some of the team may be better runners,others make great attack players,others are stronger and make great defenders and others are good at shooting a basket.They bring their skills together and achieve things as a team that they couldn’t to alone.
There are two things that make a team successful.One is how well the team as a whole achieves ite goal.The other is how well each member of the team contributes to the group.For example,think of a football team.The team wins the game but a couple of players kept the ball to themselves,so that some people had nothing to do.That’s not a successful team.On the other hand,each member of the team might get the chance to keep the ball,but the might not work well together.That’s not a successful team either.If the team wants to do well,each member must work hard and work together to win the game.
