一般过去时:主语的动作发生在过去.换句话说,就是句子里通常要有明确的过去时的时间状语,比如,last year,at 10:00 this morning,in 1988,10 years ago等等.
过去分词：首先用于完成时态,如现在完成时、过去完成时、将来完成时等；比如：I have waited for you for one and a half hours.(waited过去分词)
By the end of next year,I'll have learnt 500 new words.(learnt过去分词)
When my mom came home,I had finished my homework.(finished过去分词)
其次,用于被动语态.比如：
The tables have been cleaned by the waitresses.
