why are the old more bothersome when they are getting older

Because they don't wanna accept such a fact,don't wanna face it ,they think that they are getting older and older is a terrible thing...this mentality is difficult to detect by the mind ,so sometimes they even don't know .In fact,it's alright ,everybody will grow older and have this psychological state...
