我说的是类似的句子，例如I want to found a partner to chat (with)要不要加with，动词后面加介词放在句末介词什么时候可以省略。

to take care of take care 不及物 要加 of 与 the baby 构成 动宾结构 of不可以省略
口语中,单独用的时候可以省略of
Take care!保重
I want to found a partner to chat with
理由与上面相同
但是在口语中 chat 可以做及物动词解,此时可以省略with

薄冰语法上把这类现象叫做反射不定式现象。The baby is......of.中the baby身兼两职，既做主语又做take care of 的宾语，所以这个句子还可以变成it is difficult to take care of the baby.所以of不可以省略。I want to find a parter to chat with.必须加上with而且不可以省略。目前我还没有遇见...
