Have you known the new word " Linsanity" in American English?
It is reported that this is a quite new word in American English which is produced for the Chinese American Lin Shuhao,a very popular new basketballer in NBA.The word " Linsanity" is composed of " L+insanity",in which "L" means Lin Shuhao(林书豪),“insanity" means "to make people crazy"(令人发疯疯狂).Obviously,this word gives a vivid description of the powerful influence of Lin Shuhao in the USA.This is what we Chinese want to see because it shows that we Chinese also have the ability to play basketball in NBA,where there are the most skillled and influential basketball players not only in the US,but also in the world.We feel proud of LinShuhao,the popular basketball player with great potential.
