others相当于名词,后面不能再接名词.
the other有特指,但lots of告诉我们,这里没有特指.
another是单数,与lots of冲突.

一个人只有两只手,她已经用一只手拿钱了,另一只手肯定有特指的了.

another是由an和other合成的单词，可见它修饰的是可数名词的单数形式。而equipment是不可数名词。如： 一套装备a piece of equipment；办公室设备office equipment。
