esides “除…外,还有…”,指更进一步的拥有,包括所“除”事物在内.except:(prep.)除了...之外 后面的范围比主语的范围小,除去的和非除去的是同类事物,用except 这句应该是说除了苹果外,还有十种蔬菜在篮子里面.如果要用except的话,这句话应该改为:there are all kinds of fruit except the apple in the basket.
