A:I think English became an international language because of the colonization.When it expand and invade other countries,it also help spreading their own language and cuture.Like China,India and Australia...etc
B:English was not always at the center of trade.The Spanish,the Portuguese and Greeks were more prevelant.
If you looked in the Oxford Dictionary you will find many words attributed to Shakespeare or his first documentation of the word.Assassin is derived from Arabic but it was Shakespeare that published and create the word,otherwise killing would suffice.
Anyway,I think that English is such frequently used language because of its ease.

A:LIKE I SAID,IT BECOMES AN INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE FOR MANY REASONS,PERHAPS SIMPLE IS ONE OF THEM.HOWEVER,I THINK IT IS mainly because of the colonisation of America by England,and america grew bigger,then a lot of movies were made there which were spread over the world and big American companies so other people could best learn English,so the movies could be subtitled,so people learned English.
