那后置定语是怎么回事呢？我看到有好多直接就是过去分词做后置定语。比如 Most of the people( invited to the party) were his old friends.这个不是省略了主语和谓语吗？

定语从句：Most of the people who was invited to the party were his old friends. 后置定语：Most of the people invited to the party were his old friends. 这两种说法都是正确的。
