有说是塞缪尔·约翰逊Samuel Johnson（1709-1784）
但也有说不是
例如有个网站里说John Ray（1670）说过类似的
"Hell is paved with good intentions
更早的it's been attributed to Saint Bernard of Clairvaux (1091-1153)
"Hell is full of good intentions or desires."
