Life is not always made up of laughters and certainty.In fact,there are inevitably difficulties and failures in front of us.
I still remember what happened to me that summer day.It was an important math exam before the final,and I was so sure of myself.As a top student in class,I hadn't ever expected anything below 95.But when I got the paper,I was so astonished.It was a 67,which was one of the worst in our class.It made me lose heart.I didn't know how to face my teachers and classmates.I didn't have any confidence in myself.I was a loser,I was to lose everything.
It was Miss Wu who made me remember that afternoon for all my life.She told me that anyone would meet with difficulities on his way.But only those who wouldn't give up and had the courage to face a new day could be a success.
I was cheered up.I worked day and night and didn't take it for grant that I would get high score.In return,I got satisfatory marks that term.
Even for top students,hardship is essential to success.What's more,self-confidence always counts.
