请教一个日期的表达法
如2010年10月的记录,翻译成英语是
record for the month of OCT 2011还是record for the month OCT of 2011,of 应该加在哪个位置呢,还是直接去掉of,就record for the month OCT ,2011

the month of多余,可以直接去掉
写成：Record/Records for/of/in Oct.2011
都是可以的.
注：/ 表示可以任意选用其一.
这样的目录以简洁能懂为原则,其书写不必过于繁复.

一般英语中表述日期都较简洁，直接写，不用加of等吗？比如单单11月就是NOV，不用month of NOV 吗？之前有看到过比如month of May的表达法. 本意是想问一下如果后面有年份，如2011年10月，要用of表示的话,of位置是否可以放在年份前，如month NOV of 2011。

the month of...这种说法无误，只是为了简便，可以不加the month of. 楼主可以自己去一些著名引擎如百度等 或 一些在线词典 搜索下，看看是the month of November还是November更常见？ 年月中间的of一般也不需要，如果要加，可以这样写： October 2011 = the October of 2011 = the tenth month of 2011
