In determining the length of notice to be given to a staff member to be released or whose position hours are to be reduced (see section 6),the supervisor shall bear in mind the length of service,the nature of the staff member's position and the length of time it may take him/her to find another comparable job.Each case should be discussed with the Manager,Employee Relations before notice of termination is given.
