He promised his mother never to lie to her again.他承诺他的母亲再也不对她撒谎。承诺某人不做某事promise sb not to do sthnever一般位于系动词及助动词之后,实义动词之前; 如修饰动词不定式或分词,则要放在不定式或分词前。在此句修饰 to lie to her 这个动词不定式，所以放to lie to her 前。
