看定语从句中缺少什么成分来决定关系词的选择,而it是人称代词,作主语或者宾语.但是从句中关系代词作主语和宾语时就不能使用it了.
如：正确：The pen which I bought yesterday is blue.
错：The pen which I bought it yesterday is blue.

我做题时基本上遇不到it引导的，它和what、which等有什么区别吗

it 是人称代词，不可以引导任何从句的。 而what 和which 是可以引导名词性从句的。而且which可以引导定语从句。
