C和D 自然不用说,不选A 的原因是 at the end 一般指一段时间的结尾,而in the end指事情的结局,联系上下文,B 最合适

C和D 语法上根本没有这个说法，肯定是错的！
而A的话一般是用于地点方位的，例如at the end of the road
顺便再补充一下，in the end 表示在一个故事，一个情节的最后，跟at last有异曲同工之处！
