the ones 里的ones是不定代词,
而当上文提到同类事物可以用它代替,避免重复.但问题出在细节上!
如果用the ones 那么前面提到的事物应是泛指的：
eg：I don't have a pen.Can you lent me one?
而这题在前面同问
Equipped with the latest facilities,出现了the,很明显的提示,这样事物是特定的,所以the ones不能用.
但是those作为指示代词,可以适用在这种情况.

the ones、ones都是不定代词（像someone，anybody一样指代的不是特定的东西) I don't have a pen. Can you lent me one?这里出现的笔，不是特定的笔，只是说笔这一类的事物。 链接里有，ones的出现说明前面指代的物件是复数，one就是单数了。
