For over three decades I have been a learner-teacher.With the Mentoring andCommunity Workshops and Manuscript Reading this site makes possible,I begin my next thirty years of passionate commitment to individual writers and to communities of writers.With the Inter-Nest,I continue my dialogue with the writers who once trusted me to fully inhabit their work and to respond to it from the inside; I ask that they help me place myself in the dynamic uncertainties in which I will challenge all my own first assumptions about writing and the teaching of writing.
