How to improve English?such a question always being asked by somebody,and different people giving the different answers to this question,then how to improve English effectively and efficiently?in my opinion,I think that the Language advancement is not simply the improvised thing,especially for English,the second language for Chinese,then lots of time,energies,and dedication should be involved in the English ability improvement.And for English,there are four basic skills need to be managed well,Listening,speaking,reading and writing,to master these four skills with proficiency which need at least several years continually hard work in study.at the following text i will tell you how to improve English to a certain high level with effectiveness and efficiency,incluing the four basic skills mentioned above.
Firstly,is the pronunciation without doubt.Before learning English,we should know how to pronounce well and correctly,that’s very significant for learner,supposed that you pronounce the wrong phonetic symbol,then all the following steps of which listening,speaking,reading will count for nothing,and meaningless.then,here I suppose all the English initial Learner should pronounce correctly,and for phonetic symbol,the international phonetic symbol should be in preference for its commonplace use and the popularity.
To be a native pronouncer,Seconldly then it is the speaking,we should repeatedly and loudly speak the words whenever we learned,yes,speak as aloud as possible,if you find that speak self is too monotonous to persist,then you may pracise with your classmates,your friends,with everyone you like if such a opportunity comes to you.The more you practise,the more you will get,the more advancement and improvement will be brought to you.
Thridly,of course,the rememberance,the words we learned should be rememberd in brain consistently,and words is the fundamental thing in English learning,it just like a footstone,the groundwork should be addressed strongly and steadily.To be a good English learner,there are at least more than 5000 words in vocabularies,the more vocabulary you get,the more complicated English you may know and manage,then enlarge and enrich one’s vocabularies also is one of the most significant elements in improving English.
Finally,the reading and writing,read lots of English books should be prferred,as well as the English magzines and the related reading materials.While you read,remark the new words with highlightedness,and then come back to analyse the language elements and grammar.To learn the expression style that from the native English,to recite the elite of the contents in the text.Writing,try to wirting the words you learned from the Book in composition in the class or at the leasure time you pracitise,and writing an article in English at least per month,and use the new words you learned latestly.
on the whole,Learning English is not the improvisation,no one can learn English at a high level with proficiency just within a very limited short time,it takes a long time,and cumulate the skills day by day.Then,come on,from now on,study hard in English,and with persistence and perseverance,you will get success in learning English,mastering well in English language covering listening,speaking,reading and writing with proficiency.Good Luck!
