【高中英语】the one 和that 的区别
1.Is that lab in your school ___ the foreigners visted yesterday?
2.The desk in my room is better than ____in your room.
以上两句为什么不能用that只能用the one?

第一句只能用the one,因为如果用that,就变成了Is that lab in your school that the foreigners visited yesterday?
这里的定语从句省掉以后就变成了Is that lab in your school （注意：意思变了!）
第二句其实用that也可以的.

因为the one在这里指代的是前面提到的那个东西，that lab和the desk，而that不能指代前面提到的东西，当然，也可以用what来替代

第二句中that指的是同样一个东西，the one 指的是一类东西
第一句中用the one 有特指的意思

the one 用来代替前面特指的单数名词,有时可用that代替(尤其在有后置定语的情况下.
that=the+单数可数名词/不可数名词 代替前面出现的单数可数名词/不可数名词

that常与介词of 一起使用
第二个用the one
