这是过去分词,
=Because she is occupied with her these（因为她忙于论文,）
要是用having occupied with就没有这个含义了.
但
你可以说：
Occupying herself with her...,she has...
这就是主动了.

忙于做某事，be occupied with
having occipuied是主动形式啊，要用也是，having been occupied为什么一定要用被动啊这个短语的固定用法就是 sb. be occupied with sth 这句话的主语是she，所以写出句子应该是she is occupied with sth. 这样就能看出occupied 和主语之间的关系了...
