The most direct definition of "Brand Image" is consumer's association to a brand. The emerging association when the consumer hear the name of a company is the very brand image. The brand image employs factors of function and symbol meaning. It can forms a general congregation in the consumer's mind and memory.
Different design styles result in different brand images of softness and hardness. The hardness association is related to the acknowledge of factual feeling and function nature,such as speed,price and operability,etc, while the softness association in direct connection with mood,such as excitement,interest,trust and so on.
The congregation or network under such a psychological level can be called/named the Visual Imagery.
