这名男子邀请这名女子到他父母的旅店里度假.
his parents：指他的父母,因为是两个人所以是复数加s.
his parents‘：他父母的,表示所属的.复数后面加's的时候,按语法规定就在复数的s后面加'.
所以如果是他父亲的,就是his father's,如果是他父母的,就是his parents'.

这个。。英语里有个东西叫所有格，表示“谁”的“什么”一般用作句尾或是省略所指物体，比如 it's that man‘s car那是那个男的的车 the car is that mans’ 类似于 it's my car =the car is mine 中my 和mine 的关系。。
问句中的省略给你举个例子：A：who‘s book is this？
