我懂这句话的意思 雨林是一个被很多树占据全年十分平均的高降雨量并且温度级少的低于16度的地方.请问一下an area covered by tall trees 是一个表语从句吗?我看着不像 ,如果是表语从句的话应该有引导词啊,定语从句也不像啊,如果有that的话应该不能省略啊?是一个非谓语那什么句子吗?如果那样的话,后边with the total high rainfall spreadong quite equally through the year and the tempreature rarely dipping below 16°C 也是一个with结构啊,那不就有两个了吗?

不是不是,那是主语,这是个表语前置句,a rainforest 是表语

那怎么看出来是表语前置的？ 那covered by tall trees 是什么成分？

是这样的，当表语太短，主语太长的时候，表语要前置，covered...是area的定语，是过去分词作定语，表示被动

这是一个定语从句，an area(which /that is)covered，因为which/that作主语故可省。
后边的with the ……则是一个很长的表语从句，是用来具体形容an area的，与定语从句不冲突。望采纳定语从句不是一般不能省略引导词的么？ 我记得是作宾语时才可省略that which 啊...
