这是主语从句,英文中为了使句子平衡,不出现头重脚轻,常用it作形式主语,而把真主语放到后面.例如：他昨天出席这次会议使我们很惊讶.主语是“他出席中会议 That he attended the meeting yesterday”
That he attended the meeting yesterday surprised us.
而谓语,宾语很短,显然很不平衡.因而用
It surprised us that he attended the meeting yesterday.
