Standards:
1.Mold base steel will be #3 .
2.Parting line locks required on all molds.
3.All ejector assemblies must have rails between the ejector back-up plate and the inside surface of the ejector housing.Stop buttons are not acceptable.
4.All cores and cavities must be stamped with steel type and Rc hardness.
5.All waterlines and airlines to be counter bored and identified (in out air).
7.All ejector plates must be guided,be threaded for press pull back,and be spring loaded.
8.All molds with cams must have positive return and limit switches,& Burger Engineering “Thinswitch” or equivalent micro-switches must be installed in K.O.plate.
9.All molds must have “Progressive Components” CounterView cat #CVPL or CVIN pocketed on the outside of the mold base.
10.Corners of the mold are to be notched at the parting line for plate separation.
12.Mold must run full automatic,or GTC must be notified of the specific details.
13.Customer Name,Part number,description,number of cavities,and GTC Job # must be stamped on the operator side of the mold in ½” letters.
14.Mold must produce parts that have been approved by GTC.prior to mold shipment.
15.One complete set of reproducible drawings must be sent to GTC upon completion of the mold and prior to the final mold payment.
16.Two sets of preliminary mold design prints must be sent to GTC for approval of the design concept only,prior to mold construction.
17.All drawings,tracings and tooling aids that are necessary for mold construction are the property of GTC and must be retained by the mold maker for a period of 6 months and must be shipped to GTC upon request.
18.Runner turn offs required in all multiple cavity cold runner molds.
19.* Replaceable wear surfaces to be of lamina bronze.E.g.gibs,wear plates,etc.
