They stayed with me for three weeks ,during which time they drank all the wind I had.
1 为什么 要用 during which time 而不用 during which
2 定语从句还原成普通语序时 是 they drank all the wime I had during three weeks' time 还是 they drank all the wime I had during three weeks (本问与第一问没有实质上的差别)

定语从句用什么指代词要考虑你指代的东西在句中作什么成分,比如这一句,three weeks作的是时间状语,而不是主语或者宾语,就一定要用during which time.
举个例子,如果是
The three weeks during which we passed together were very happy.
我们一起度过的3个星期是快乐的,这里的3哥星期作的是pass的宾语,所以就不要用time了.

1.因为这个句子中,定语从句修饰的是three weeks,而不是前面整个句子,要用which time.当关系词which指的是前面整个句子时，就不要用time了，如：They stayed with me for three weeks , which made me very happy.
这里的which 就是指前面整句话．你说是吗？
